The general consensus among consumers is this is a very good all in one karaoke machine.  They are very happy with the quality of sound generated by this unit and report crisp clear sound.  Consumers also the love the many features the Karaoke USA GF842 such as voice recording ability, built in screen, Bluetooth connection, lights, 2 microphones, and portability factor.  The one huge observation we saw with this karaoke machine is that consumers with families absolutely loved this unit for its functionality, ease of use, and performance.

As with any product there issues that consumers have stated they have with this machine.  The most common was the machine come defective when received.  We don’t know if this is a build quality issue, warehouse and shipping issue but seems as with any electronic device that you have to be prepared to face this possibility.  Another issue we came across is some consumers complained about the quality of the microphone input slots.  Some say its a little fragile and could break easily.  The other issue we discovered among consumers was the quality of the CD/DVD player.  Some consumers complained about the quality of opening and closing mechanism with the CD/DVD and that it can also break easily.

Overall as we stated the majority of consumers are satisfied with their purchase and have had great fun with this karaoke machine.

Overall Impression

The Karaoke USA GF842 is solid choice if you are looking for a all in one karaoke machine for your home.  Out of the box you don’t need anything else as this machine comes with two microphones, screen, and 2 CD+G discs (plays music and lyrics).  With capabilities to connect your smartphone, tablet, USB drive, and SD card it gives you a vast array of options to play any music you desire.  It’s small but powerful so it won’t leave much of a footprint when not in use.

The main reason I can support this device is the sound quality and options.  This unit produces clean crisp sound and has plenty of sound options such as balance control, analog echo control, and digital key control.  Don’t get me wrong with a built-in amplifier you won’t get amazing sound but for the price and what else you get the sound is quite good. For small gatherings and small spaces this is a great choice but if you are looking for something for bigger events you may want to look at a more robust system.

With the sound performance, lights, and ability to record your karaoke sessions this is a big hit with kids and the consumer reviews support this.  We feel the Karaoke USA GF842 would make a great Christmas, birthday, or family gift as it can provide hours of fun entertainment.
